Admin cost calculator
How much is admin work costing your business? Enter three numbers to see the weekly, monthly, and yearly cost, and what you'd save by cutting it.
Cutting that admin by 30% would free up about $0 a year.
How it's calculated
Weekly cost = people × admin hours each per week × hourly cost. Monthly = weekly × 52 ÷ 12. Yearly = weekly × 52.
Count the time spent on repetitive tasks: data entry, invoicing, scheduling, chasing documents, typing up reports, and answering the same emails. Don't count the work your business actually sells.

What to do with the number
A big number on its own doesn't tell you what to fix. The free Admin Score breaks it down by task and shows whether each one is likely fixed with software you can buy or needs a custom tool.
Questions
What hourly cost should I use?
Use the hourly wage plus employer costs like CPP and EI contributions and any benefits. If you're not sure, $40–$50 an hour is a reasonable starting point for office admin in Calgary; use your own numbers if you have them.
Why 30% savings?
It's a conservative example. Some tasks can be almost fully automated, others only partly. Your Admin Score and prescription use your actual tasks.
