Privacy policy
This policy explains how Breviti ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through breviti.ca. Breviti is based in Calgary, Alberta. We handle personal information in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who is responsible
Rahul Bali, Founder, is responsible for Breviti's compliance with this policy and answers privacy questions. Contact: info@breviti.ca.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, business type, what you're interested in, and your message.
- Admin Score checkup: your name, company, email, phone number (optional), business type, team size, weekly admin hours, the tasks and software you select, and anything you type in the text box.
- How you found us: if you arrive through a link with tracking parameters (such as utm_source or utm_campaign, often used in ads), we record those values and the first page you visited, and include them with your form submission.
- Booking and payment: if you book a call or pay for a prescription, our scheduling and payment providers collect the details needed to do that (such as your name, email, and payment details). We don't receive or store your full card number.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
Please don't include sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account, or government ID details) in the free-text boxes. We don't need it to prepare your score or reply to you.
Why we collect it
- To show your Admin Score and reply to your enquiry.
- To prepare a prescription or quote you've asked for, and to provide services you've agreed to buy.
- To understand which ads, pages, and guides bring in enquiries, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We collect only what we need for these purposes. By submitting a form, you consent to us using your information for them. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Emails from us
If you submit a form, we'll email you about your enquiry, your Admin Score, or a prescription you've booked. We won't add you to a newsletter or send you marketing emails without your consent, and any marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe, as required by Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL).
Your Admin Score and your browser
Your Admin Score is calculated in your own browser. To display your results and remember which link you arrived from, the site keeps your checkup answers and those tracking values in your browser's session storage. They're cleared automatically when you close the browser tab. We also receive your answers through the form submission described above.
Service providers, including outside Canada
We use trusted service providers to run the site and our business. They may store or process personal information outside Canada, mainly in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law:

Cookies and tracking
As of the date above, this site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't run ad-tracking pixels. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we'll update this policy before they go live.
Software recommendations and referral fees
When we recommend third-party software, some vendors may pay us a referral fee. We disclose any such fee in writing in your prescription. If you sign up for third-party software, that vendor's own terms and privacy policy apply to the information you give them.
If you become a client
When we set up software or build tools for you, we may access business data, including your customers' or employees' personal information. How we handle that data is covered by the written agreement for that work, and we use it only to deliver the services you've asked for.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and checkup submissions for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you become a client. Client and billing records are kept for as long as required for tax and legal purposes, generally six years.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, reputable service providers, access limited to the people who need it, and strong account security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we'll notify affected people and regulators as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent (subject to legal or contractual limits), or ask us to delete it. Email info@breviti.ca; we'll respond within the time required by law. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
